The Ministry of Sports of Brazil (Secretaria Especial do Esporte) recently hosted the country’s 1st National Technical Meeting on Combating the Manipulation of Sports Results in Brasília, a proactive and important step in the national effort to ensure sports integrity.
IBIA was proud to be represented at this meeting through Alcina de Oliveira Alves from Kaizen Gaming, one of our members, contributing to discussions on integrity, intelligence-sharing, and cooperation.
This meeting reflects the growing partnership between IBIA and the Ministry of Sports, reinforcing a shared commitment to protecting sport from manipulation and building a transparent, well-regulated betting market in Brazil.
IBIA has actively collaborated with Brazilian stakeholders from the outset, and this initiative marks a significant milestone in deepening joint efforts to ensure the integrity of both sport and betting.
