20 March 2026 - IBIA takes part in UEFA Integrity Officers Forum for the first time
The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has for the first time participated in the UEFA Integrity Officers Forum. This year’s inaugural edition of the forum took place in Slovenia, bringing together the entire European integrity ecosystem on 17-18 March.
During the event, our team shared important insights about their work, and how IBIA’s Global Monitoring and Alert Platform (Global MAP) uses operator intelligence to support integrity officers on the ground to investigate and prosecute sports corruption.
IBIA’s Head of Global Operations Matt Fowler participated in the panel “Inside the Odds: A Deep Dive into Betting Markets”, where he explored the role of IBIA and the regulated betting operators in detecting and deterring match fixing.
Protecting the integrity of European football requires collective effort, which it was great to witness first-hand in Slovenia.
